Squire Hepworth, MD
Volunteer Physician
Squire Hepworth studied at University of Arizone, College of Medicine. He grew up in Riverton, Utah. He earned an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University. He is very happy to be in Pocatello for residency. He plans to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine in a rural setting. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing, hiking, playing basketball, woodworking, reading, and working on his Grandpa's ranch. Shayla Almquist, RDH
Volunteer Dental Hygientist
Shayla is a graduate of Idaho State University and is very passionate about the patients she works with. It is her goal to educate patients on how to properly care for their oral hygiene and give them the information they need to reach their oral health goals. Shayla loved her volunteer time at the free clinic while she was in college and always planned to continue volunteering once she was a graduate. Shayla currently volunteers 1-2 days a month in the Dental Clinic. Her clinic dates can be found under the "EVENTS' section.
Eric Jensen, MD
Volunteer Physician
Eric Jensen was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He went to medical school at Ross University. During rotations in rural Michigan he became very interested in Family Medicine and has a strong desire to work in Idaho after completion of residency. He enjoys all aspects of medicine that working in Family Medicine has to offer. Dr. Jensen returned to Idaho after medical school with his wife and three children. Bill Sabel, NP-C
Volunteer Nurse Practioner
Bill Sabel is a Nurse Practitioner Specialist in Pocatello, Idaho. He graduated with honors in 2002. Having more than 15 years of diverse experiences, especially in NURSE PRACTITIONER, Bill Sabel affiliates with Portneuf Medical Center, and cooperates with other doctors and specialists in medical group Family Practice Group. Skyler Shippen, MD
Volunteer Physician
Skyler Shippen studied at Ross University, School of Medicine. He is a native of Eastern Idaho, being raised on a cattle ranch and farm in Menan. He has a special interest in International Medicine, having lived abroad for many years including in Madagascar and Dominica. He has been an active participant in the community as a Special Olympics coach, Journey’s disability volunteer, and BSA leader. He enjoys dirt biking, wakeboarding, fishing, college football, playing guitar, and spending time with his beautiful wife and four children. Jessica Mendez, MD
Volunteer Physician
Jessica Mendez earned her undergraduate degree in human biology at the University of California, San Diego and studied at University of Iowa, College of Medicine for medical school. Her interest in Family Medicine was sparked by a rotation in a small town in Iowa. She plans to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine in the mountain west region after residency. David Kimball, DO
Volunteer Physician
David Kimball is from northern Utah. Prior to Medical School at Touro Univerisity-Neveda College of Osteopathic Medicine, he was a Chiropractor, where he owned and operated his own clinic, treating primarily musculoskeletal disorders. Desiring to have a larger role in his patient's healthcare, he returned to school. With his unique background and training, Dr. Kimball can offer his patients a wide variety of personalized treatment options. He plans on practicing full spectrum Family Medicine in a rural community. His biggest passion is spending time with his wife and five children.
